Location (driving directions and store location info): Panay Decor Store LocationConveniently nestled in South Pasadena's "business district" (OK, it's a little Mayberry-ish kind of business district) at Fair Oaks and El Centrol (next to Wells Fargo Bank/Starbucks, across the street from the Rialto Theater) we're proud to be part of this areas vibrant independant shopping experience. If you're coming by freeway exit the 110/Pasadena Freeway at Fair Oaks and turn south, we're two blocks south of Mission Street. For those of you coming by Metro Rail or the South Pas Farmer's Market take the Metro Gold Line and get off at the Mission Station. We're a quick five minute/ 5-block walk away, east along El Centro. Havana Before Castro, When Cuba Was a Tropical PlaygroundPeter Moruzzi was in the shop last week discussing his new book, Havana Before Castro (he said he'll put some photos from the book on his website -- ahhh, they're up already, this one is great: Life as a Habanero). Looks like a really terrific read. |

Having traveled and collected heavily in anticipation of our new store we --- well, we (perhaps) over bought, so if our front window seems crowded with treasures, well, you should see our storehouse. This means we're always bringing in fresh pieces, or, if you don't see exactly what you had in mind we might already have it, so please, let us know your special requests, we're only too happy to indulge them.
Our fearsome Kwan Gung statue underscores mainland China's unrivaled artisans. Kwan Gung, the god of justice, is favored among Feng Shui denizens for household protection.
